About Us
Tuition Junction is a Watford based tuition service, offering personalised education for children of all ages. As well as face to face, we offer an online service for both 1:1 and group sessions. We are a team of passionate, qualified teachers, committed to encouraging a positive relationship with learning for all young people.
Whether your child needs a little extra help with their phonics, or they’re preparing for important exams, Tuition Junction has a tutor to suit your needs.
We have a team of brilliant teachers, who all have between 15 and 20 years teaching experience, with specialisms including Maths, Statistics, AL and SEN.
Iram Rashid
“I’ve always loved maths, even though it didn’t come naturally to me.”
After taking her own 11+ exams, Iram attended a private high school and college. She then went on to study Mathematics and Statistics with Management at University. She later completed a PGCE (Post Graduate Certificate in Education) in Primary Education. She has worked for over 15 years, across many different educational settings, and in various roles including:
• Year 6 SATs
• GCSE Maths within a Private College
• SAT Examiner (Edexcel)
• KS3/4 Maths

Samiya Rashid

Samiya completed a Bachelors at Manchester University and then went on to do her PGCE at The Institute of Education at the University of London. She later studied ‘The Teaching of EAL’ at a postgraduate level, and most recently in Special Educational Needs. She has worked for over 20 years, across various educational settings including:
• Secondary School KS3/4
• Primary School KS1/2
She specialises in:
• Teaching English as an Additional Language
• SEN
• 11+
